How we handle your address.
CVVolt is a product we are still building. The only thing we collect today is the email address (and, optionally, the role category) you share on the founding list. This page explains exactly what we do with it.
What we collect
- Your email address.
- Optional broad role category (healthcare, education, federal, technology, business, skilled trades, other).
- A timestamp recording when you confirmed the consent checkbox.
- Aggregate, non-identifying counts (e.g. how many people joined this week). Never tied to a specific address.
How we store it
Your address is encrypted before it is stored in a private database we operate. The raw address is never written to logs, analytics tools, or any third-party system. A separate keyed fingerprint is created in memory for duplicate detection, and the plaintext is discarded after encryption.
Where it does not go
- It is not stored in Cloudflare R2 or any object store.
- It is not sent to analytics, error-tracking, or marketing tools.
- It is not logged in our application or web-server logs.
- It is not sold, rented, or shared with recruiters, advertisers, or any third party.
Email we will send
Until CVVolt is ready to invite founding members, we send no email at all. After that, we will send only messages about CVVolt availability and important product updates. We will not send unrelated newsletters or third-party promotions, and you can unsubscribe in one click from any message we send.
Cookies and tracking
We do not run third-party analytics, advertising pixels, or tracking scripts on this site. There are no external fonts, scripts, or stylesheets loaded by this page.
Retention and deletion
We keep your address on the founding list until you ask us to remove it or until CVVolt launches and we offer a clear delete path. You can request deletion at any time by emailing [email protected]; we will delete your address from active storage within thirty days and from backups within ninety days.
Your rights
- Ask what we hold about you.
- Ask us to correct or delete it.
- Withdraw consent and leave the founding list.

Changes to this notice
We will update this page if our practices change. We will not weaken the commitments above — encrypted private storage, no selling, no third-party sharing, and easy deletion — without telling the founding list first.
